Dark Chocolate Bark

Ingredients:

100grams dark chocolate (I use 85% lindt)

1.5-2 tbs pine nuts

1.5-2 tbs cranberries

1.5-2 tbs pistachios

(Optional) drizzle nut butter of choice (I used Deliciously Ella smooth almond butter with ginger, cinnamon and vanilla)

Method:

Step 1: Melt the dark chocolate. You can either do this in a pan over low heat and stir frequently or in the microwave for about 1.5 minutes stiring every 30 seconds to ensure you don’t burn the chocolate. Tip: I usually take it off the heat when it’s almost melted and let the warmth from the melted chocolate melt the almost melted pieces.

Step 2: Prepare your container (approximately 6x6inch) mixing in pine nuts, cranberries and pistachios and make sure they are spread pretty evenly. Tip: I recommend using a silicon container as its easier to take it out but it can really be any container, baking tray or cake pan (you can also line it with baking paper to make it easier to take out of something not silicon).

Step 3: Pour the melted chocolate on top and mix until everything is covered in chocolate and smooth out so it even.

Step 4: Pop into the freezer until hardened (approximately 5-10 minutes).

Step 5: Either pop out of the silicone or cut/break into pieces

Enjoy!
